Services

Support for fertility teams, shaped around what your clinic needs.

Every clinic runs differently, so the list below is a starting point rather than a menu. If what you need sits somewhere between these, please ask.

01

Clinical embryology

Experienced hands in the laboratory, working to your protocols and to the standards set by the HFEA.

  • Oocyte retrieval handling and sperm preparation
  • Insemination by IVF and ICSI, denudation, fertilisation checks
  • Embryo culture, assessment and grading, embryo transfer
  • Cryopreservation, thawing and warming, biopsy procedures
  • Surgical sperm retrieval andrology services
02

Laboratory compliance and quality

Keeping the paperwork as sound as the science, so an inspection is something you are ready for rather than something you dread.

  • HFEA compliance and laboratory accreditation standards
  • Quality management systems and good documentation practice
  • Writing and refining standard operating procedures
  • Audit and inspection readiness
03

Staff development and support

Bringing on the people who will still be there long after a locum has gone home.

  • Training and mentoring for embryologists and laboratory staff
  • Competency assessment
  • Encouraging best practice and continuing professional development
04

Strategic and advisory support

A second pair of eyes on how the laboratory is performing, and on the decisions that shape the next few years.

  • Laboratory performance and workflow optimisation
  • Equipment and media selection
  • Alignment between the clinical and laboratory teams
  • Data interpretation, outcome reviews and strategic planning
05

Project and interim work

Larger pieces of work where continuity matters, whether that is standing a new laboratory up or holding one steady through a gap. Additional pricing may apply.

  • Laboratory start-ups and relocations
  • Introducing PGT programmes and new technologies
  • Interim cover that maintains continuity of patient care and laboratory standards
I aim to support fertility teams with insight and flexibility, integrating with the clinic as another member of the team.

For patients

Embryology consultations, coming soon

I am developing a service for people going through IVF, or who have already been through it, to talk with an embryologist about what happens to their embryos and what the results actually meant.

This is explanatory and supportive. It sits alongside the care of your own clinic rather than replacing it, and it is not medical advice.

If that is something you would find useful, do get in touch and I will let you know when it opens.

Cover at short notice, a longer project, or a conversation before you decide. Either way, a short email is the easiest place to start.
